Mark’s layout is a freelanced based on Union Pacific equipment and anything else he finds interesting. The layout uses Micro-Engineering Code 83 rail and Fast-Track turnouts. There are 49 turnouts all operated by Tortoise Switch Machines with LED control panels. The layout runs on NCE DCC wireless system with two power districts. In the back yard, he uses macros (NCE) to control double-slips and three-way turnouts. Using the Tortoise Switch Machines takes out the confusing setting of the turnouts. Mark likes animation and works hard at adding more animation to enjoy the interaction of the layout with the user.
