Doug Meyer’s C&O (HO)
The layout will be available for viewing on Wednesday, July 16, 2025.
Doug’s layout models the C&O from Hawks Nest to Hinton as well as the Mower Lumber Co. It is a pretty accurate prototype-based layout, and a Proto-Freelanced version of the Branchline out of Quinnimont. Areas to be modeled include Hawks Nest and the bridge (80% scaled down); Kaymore and Nuttleburg; Sewel and Cunard; Thurmond and the small yard across the New River; Prince/QN; Meadowcreek; and ending at Hinton. As well as Cass, which “magically” moved onto the C&O mainline. The controls for the layout is an old Lenz DCC system with the old CVP radio handsets. There is a small seating area in the layout along with his workbench.
